2025 is just around the corner and it is time to have a glimpse of what may come in this new year. But first, some preliminaries.

This series is arranged by rising signs or ascendants, not your Sun sign. Secondly, these rising signs are based on the sidereal zodiac, not the more commonly seen tropical zodiac.

Please also note that these forecasts are based only on your rising sign and does not take your whole natal chart into account. The planets in your natal chart will further modify these forecasts, so if you would like a more accurate forecast, it is best that you get a reading from your astrologer.

Right, let’s get to the focus of this post. This series will focus on the transits of the slower moving planets, namely Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. All of these planets will change signs during the 2nd quarter of 2025, which can make this a rather eventful period.

Transit of Jupiter

Below lists the transit of Jupiter through the zodiac signs in 2025.

• 15 May 2025 ingress into Gemini
• 18 Oct 2025 ingress into Cancer (exaltation)
• 12 Nov 2025 station retrograde in Cancer
• 5 Dec 2025 retrograde back into Gemini

Among the 9 “planets”, Jupiter is the greatest benefic. It brings blessings, expansion, opportunities and protection wherever it goes.

For those with Pisces as their rising sign, Jupiter has been in your 3rd House since 1 May 2024 (i.e. for the past 7 months) and remains here until 15 May 2025. The 3rd House represents siblings, the way you communicate, short journeys and also teachings from the guru (guru upadesha). Jupiter’s presence in this house will bring blessings to one or several of these areas of life.

On 15 May 2025, Jupiter moves into Gemini, which is the 4th House for Pisces rising charts. The 4th House represents our physical home, our emotions, and our mother. Jupiter’s blessings in the 4th House may come in the form of you finally moving into your own home, groundedness and stability in your emotional health, or blessings to your mother (perhaps health wise or financially).

On 18 Oct 2025, Jupiter will leave Gemini briefly and enter Cancer, i.e. Jupiter’s blessing on the 4th House will be paused. Cancer is the sign of exaltation for Jupiter, i.e. it is the sign where Jupiter is most able to bring forth his blessings. For Pisces rising charts, Cancer is in the 5th House of children, intellect and decision making. Jupiter’s presence in the 5th House is a good time period to try for children, or perhaps a child will come to you during this time.

Jupiter in Cancer will also be a wonderful support in decision making, so if you have any major and critical decisions to make, you may wish to hold off until this time, if possible. But do make them before 12 Nov 2025, when Jupiter starts going retrograde.

Jupiter will start moving backwards (retrograde) on 12 Nov 2025, before re-entering Gemini on 5 Dec, where the blessings on the 4th House mentioned above will resume.

Transit of Saturn

Unlike Jupiter, Saturn is a malefic planet, i.e. it causes problems and difficulties wherever it goes. Saturn tends to bring a sense of tediousness and contraction. What used to be easy and quick now seems to take more time and effort. Saturn also tends to dull the colours of life and makes things more monotone.

Saturn has been in the sign of Aquarius since 23 Oct 2022 and will remain here until 30 Mar 2025. For Pisces rising, Aquarius is in the 12th House of expenses, foreign travel and things of a foreign nature in general. When Saturn here may bring travels to more rural or agricultural areas overseas for holiday, and though your experiences there may be less exciting than you expect, it can be a grounding experience. Saturn in 12th House may also indicate expenses on antiquities.

On 30 Mar 2025, Saturn moves into Pisces and will remain here for the rest of 2025. Pisces is in 1st House of health and vitality. Saturn has the power of ageing us, hence when it is passing through the 1st House, you may tend to feel more tired than before, and have less energy and drive to get up and accomplish things.

Any existing health issues may be brought to the forefront, so it might be beneficial to get a health checkup if you haven’t done one in recent times. Please take good care of yourself and get enough rest during this period. Try to take on less than you think you could handle.

Transit of Rahu

Like Saturn, Rahu, also known as the North Node, is also a malefic and signifies that which is unfamiliar and foreign. It can also represent things and events that are unexpected, sudden, or shocking.

Rahu is currently in the sign of Pisces in the 1st House. It has been here since 30 Oct 2023 and will remain here until 18 May 2025. As mentioned earlier, the 1st House signifies our health and vitality. Rahu currently in this house can cause health issues that are sudden, unexpected and difficult to treat. Rahu also represents desires, and its transit through the 1st House can cause us to be driven by our desires rather than what’s actually good for us.

Rahu moves into Aquarius in the 12th House on 18 May 2025 and will remain here for the rest of 2025. Aquarius is also lorded by Rahu (Aquarius has two lords, Saturn and Rahu), and so it tends to be better behaved.

Aquarius is the 12th House for Pisces rising, and Rahu here can bring about sudden and unexpected expenses, particularly on things that are foreign to you or unusual, so you may wish to have extra savings on standby. Rahu can also bring you on overseas trips. It will likely be an eye-opening experience on this trips, but don’t forget to take the necessarily precaution for your safety and that of your possessions. Trust your gut feel and avoid places that seem dodgy and suspicious.

Transit of Ketu

Ketu is the shadowy twin of Rahu and is also a malefic. Ketu is associated with confusion and uncertainty. Wherever it is in the chart, there tends to be a sense of being lost and not knowing what to do, like being stranded on a boat in the endless ocean.

Ketu is currently in Virgo. It has been here since 30 Oct 2023 and will remain here until 18 May 2025. For Pisces rising charts, Virgo is in the 7th House of relationships and partnerships, and Ketu here can bring about confusion in this area of life. There may be events that make you no longer certain about the relationship you are in, or perhaps you lack direction on how you would like your relationship to be like. The same may also apply if you are in a business partnership. Communication is key to making sure both you and your partners are on the same page.

Ketu will enter Leo on 18 May 2025, and remain there for the rest of 2025. Leo is in your 6th House of health issues and injuries. Ketu here can indicate health problems, such as due to viral infections or parasites. Coupled with Saturn’s transit in the 1st House of health and vitality, there can be increased likelihood of being unwell. So please do take extra care of yourself, get enough sleep and have a healthy daily routine.
