Introduction to Vedic Astrology

This is a beginner friendly 9-week program introducing you to Vedic Astrology, with the aim to help you interpret your own birth chart, and gain insights about yourself and make better decisions.

Over these 9 weeks, you will learn about:

• Planets – Meanings and significations of the 9 planets used
• Zodiac Signs – The difference between sidereal vs tropical zodiac, the qualities of each sign
• Houses – Significations of each of the 12 Houses, how to analyse the strength of a house
• Aspects – How the 9 planets relate and influence each other in a chart
• Timing – An introduction to the Vimshottari Dasha and how it can be used to understand the quality of time that we are in
• Divisional Charts – An introduction into divisional charts, and how it can offer more details to our analysis

Conduct of the Program

• Weekly Online Sessions – Class is held online over Zoom. Each class is approximately 2-hour long
• Assignments – There will be a short assignment every week. This is to ground your learnings by applying the lessons on your own birth chart
